Bicycle transport trailer "Toscana"
The Toscana is a high-quality tandem box body trailer with four separate roller supporting frames for each
10 cycles. The roller supporting frames allow an extremely convenient loading process and a secure,
damage-free transport. On removing the roller supporting frames, the trailer also can be used to
transport normal luggage or other goods.

Axles:
Two AL-KO rubber spring axles in tandem arrangement.
Tyres:
185 R 14 C single with 5-hole rims. Superstructured, without wheelhouses.
Brakes:
Overrun brake with automatic reverse mechanism in compliance with the road traffic licensing regulation.
Tow equipment:
Height-adjustable AL-KO - drawbar with ball coupling or DIN towing eye. Adjustable range 400 mm (Coupling height approx. 490 mm - 890 mm)
Jockey wheel:
Sturdy automatic jockey wheel in compliance with the UVV (German Safety Regulations for prevention of accidents)
Lightning systems:
In compliance with the road traffic regulations with integrated rear fog lamp. On request, loading space lamp with switch.
Chassis frame::
Is made of folded fine-grain steel profiles with high tensile strength and is completely hot-dip galvanized.
Body:
"Alu Wood" - box body. The 14 mm thick side walls and the 17 mm thick front wall consist of a wooden core and aluminium covers inside and outside.
Interior/floor:
Front and side walls are protected with a base-rubbing strake. The floor is made of 15 mm thick waterproof glued "Birch-Combi" vehicle floor plates.

Is made of checker sheet aluminium, inlying folded profiles of aluminium with high tensile strength and an outer skin of sleek sheet aluminium. The tailgate also serves as a drive-on ramp for the roller frames. Spring supporting on both sides enables ease of handling.
Roller Supporting frames:
The trailer is able to accommodate 4 roller supporting frames for each 10 cycles, one above the other. The cycles stand with the wheels in self- stabilizing skids and are held to the main frame by a height-adjustable central support with a quick-release lock. The supporting frames themselves are made of steel tubing and hot-dip galvanized. Each frame has 8 sturdy plastic rollers 12 cm in diameter and can be pushed easily by two people fully loaded on to the trailer. To ensure a damage free transport, the roller supporting frames are arrested in the trailer
Paintwork:
The trailer is completely galvanized. The visible parts are additionally painted with high-performance two-component acrylic-based paint in the colour requested.
The front and side walls and the roof are white coated. Roof strap, bottom strap and corner profiles made of aluminium are silver anodized. Tailgate and rear frame are painted in a RAL colour of your choice. If the trailer is to be gotten a special effect paintwork, it can be supplied untreated, or for an appropriate surcharge be completely painted.
Vehicle documents:
The vehicle is delivered complete with TÜV (MOT) approval and with the required vehicle documents.
