The passenger car transport trailer "Rheine" is a completely galvanized air braked central axle trailer with superstructured wheels. The length of the cargo area is 8.5 m to 10 m and can be adjusted to your requirements. The outer width of the trailer is 2.55 m. The track between the outer frame is 2.45 m wide.

The trailer is available in several basic designs:

1. "Rheine 45/90L"
Gross vehicle weight 5500 kg, payload approx. 3000 kg, 9 t - flat-bed single axle with maintenance-free SKF compact bearings, air suspension with lifting and lowering, cargo area 8.5 to 10 m x 2.55 m, loading height approx. 800 mm, tyre equipment 205/65R 17.5 twin. The trailer has a permissible axle load of 4.5 t and is suitable for use in a 12 t - truck trailer in combination with a 7.5 t - truck. 12 t - truck trailers are exempt from paying motorway truck toll in Germany.

2. "Rheine 87L"
Gross vehicle weight 9500 kg, payload approx. 6000 kg, couple of 5.5 t - flat-bed axles, air suspension with lifting and lowering, cargo area 8.5 to 10 m x 2.55 m, loading height approx. 875 mm, tyre equipment 215/75R 17.5 single. The trailer can be equipped with a hydraulic piling platform and is with it suitable for transporting 3 passenger cars, 3 SUVs or 2 panel vans.

3. "Rheine 109L"
Gross vehicle weight 11900 kg, payload approx. 7500 kg, couple of 5.5 t - flat-bed axles, air suspension with lifting and lowering, cargo area 8.5 to 10 m x 2.55 m, loading height approx. 880 mm, tyre equipment 235/75R 17.5 single. The trailer can be equipped with a hydraulic piling platform and is with it suitable for transporting 3 passenger cars, 3 SUVs or 2 panel vans.

4. "Rheine 110L"
Gross vehicle weight 12000 kg, payload approx. 7500 kg, couple of 5.5 t - flat-bed axles, air suspension with lifting and lowering, cargo area 8.5 to 10 m x 2.55 m, loading height approx. 800 mm, tyre equipment 205/65R 17.5 twin. The trailer can be equipped with one or two hydraulic piling platforms and is with it suitable for transporting up until 4 passenger cars, 4 SUVs or 2 panel vans.

5. "Rheine 160L"
Gross vehicle weight 16000 kg, payload approx. 10000 kg, couple of 9 t - flat-bed axles with maintenance-free SKF compact bearings, air suspension with lifting and lowering, cargo area 8.5 to 10 m x 2.55 m, loading height approx. 835 mm, tyre equipment 215/75R 17.5 twin. The trailer can be equipped with one or two hydraulic piling platforms and is with it suitable for transporting up until 4 passenger cars, 4 SUVs or 2 panel vans.


The trailer can be normally or close coupled. If it is close coupled, there remains between truck and trailer only a distance of 700 mm. This slight distance is bridged using two special-purpose semi-circular interlocking plates which need not be removed during the journey and which can be driven over straight for loading.
Normal coupling results in a distance of approx. 1400 mm which can be bridged by the truck's drive-on ramps for loading.
